A first edition, first printing published by Cape in 1963. A near fine without inscriptions (small stain to the top edge). SIGNED on the front endpaper ‘George Lazenby/007’). In a beautiful near fine (or better) clipped wrapper. A nice association copy.
The story is filled with action, including a thrilling ski chase and a dramatic assault on Blofeld’s fortress. “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” is notable for its character development, a departure from some of the earlier Bond novels, and it concludes with a tragic and unexpected twist that leaves Bond forever changed.
