Graham Hill – Life At The Limit – SIGNED First Edition 1969
£485.00
First edition, first printing of Life At The Limit by Graham Hill, published by William Kimber in London, 1969. This is a near fine copy signed, dated and inscribed by the author to the front free end paper in blue ink (To Francis/Thank you so much/for stepping into the breech!/and making it possible/With my best wishes/Graham/December 69), the boards bound in original publisher’s charcoal cloth with gilt titling to the spine, the text block with slight browning and spotting. The near fine dust wrapper is bright and clean, but suffers from some mild pushing to the top edge and crease to corner of front flap fold.
The autobiography of twice Formula One World Champion and father of Damon Hill – we have not seen such a lengthy and warm inscription by Hill before.
