A first edition, first printing published by Cape in 1934. A very good+ book with some light spotting to the preliminary pages and a little spotting to the page edges. In a good+ unclipped wrapper with browning to the spine and a small name to the head of the front panel. Some light chipping to the corners and spine tips with a couple of internal repairs to some closed tears. Exceptionally rare in the original dust wrapper – an early Greene edited book with contributions by Auden, Bates, Bowen and Hartley.
