A first edition, first printing of ‘The Bafut Beagles’ published by Rupert Hart-Davis in 1954. A very good book with patches of fading to the spine tips. No inscriptions. Signed, by Durrell who has also drawn a picture of a squirrel on the front endpaper. In the very good, clipped supplied dust wrapper which has some rubbing to the edges and corners and repair to the top edge of the dust wrapper. Rare signed and illustrated in this way and the Author’s third book.
