Beautifully illustrated by Stuart Boyle, the dust wrapper is frontally bright, clean and with some slight wear to the corners. The spine and the rear panel are slightly faded and foxed, which extends so slightly to the front and rear flaps. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 7s. 6d. net price. The end papers are marbled in a deep blue and white. The boards are free from chips and marks. The text blocks are bright and clean, and the top edge is navy blue in colour. Small gift inscription to the front endpaper. Overall, this is a near fine copy.
