A very good book signed and dated by the previous owner in blue ink on the front free end paper, the front board and rear panel in general good condition with some minor pushing to the head and foot of the spine and spotting to the text block. The price clipped wrapper with fading to the spine and minor fading to the front panel, some internal browning, pushing to the top edge, chips to the head and foot of the spine and chips to the front and rear fold knuckles. With associated post card written by Evelyn Waugh to the previous owner, John Thorold, in 1959.
