The dust wrapper is markedly pristine and the only notable wear is some very minimal spotting to the spine. It has not been price clipped, showing 30s. The wraparound band reading ‘Previously £1.50, NOW offered at 47 1/2p’ is without wear and unfaded. The boards are free from notable wear and the text blocks are bright and white throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in fine condition.
The first volume of Waugh’s autobiography. It is dedicated to his grandchildren.
