A first edition, first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1967. A near fine book without inscriptions – SIGNED without dedication by both Cilento and Connery to the front endpaper. In a very good unclipped wrapper with a little nicking and wear to the edges. Diane Cilento, an Australian actress, had a successful career in both film and theater. She appeared in movies like “Tom Jones” and “The Agony and the Ecstasy.” Sean Connery and Diane Cilento were married from 1962 to 1973. During their marriage, they had one son named Jason Connery, who also pursued a career in acting. Although their marriage ended in divorce, both Sean Connery and Diane Cilento continued their respective careers and made significant contributions to the film industry. Double signed copies are rare.
