Description
A first edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1957. A very good book (one small line to the page block foot), without inscriptions. A small rubbed patch to the front board and a little rubbing to the corners. In a very good+ unclipped wrapper. The wrapper was designed byBB (Denys Watkins-Pitchford) and is scarce in its own right. “Nathaniel Ironsides Goss takes a short fishing trip to the West Country, and on his first night hooks, not the record-breaking carp he hopes for, but what seems to be a drowning man.” The third in a series of three thrillers starring Nathaniel Goss and based on sporting situations.
