A first edition, first printing of ‘The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ published by Bles in 1952. A near fine book without inscriptions and no foxing whatsoever – some light off-setting to the spine tips. In a very good unclipped wrapper with two small internal repairs. Some light chipping to the spine tips and edges – much better than usually seen. This, the third published, but volume five of Lewis’s ‘Chronicles of Narnia’, was illustrated profusely by Pauline Baynes and has been filmed successfully.
