C S Lewis – The Magician’s Nephew – First UK Edition 1955
£1,250.00
A first edition, first printing published by The Bodley Head in 1955. A near fine book without inscriptions, with some light spotting to the top edge. In a very good clipped wrapper with some light pushing and wear to the tips of the spine and to the edges. Small stain to the front panel of the dust wrapper, some fading to the spine and some handling marks to the rear panel. A very presentable copy.
“The Magician’s Nephew” is a fantasy novel by C.S. Lewis, part of “The Chronicles of Narnia” series. It explores the creation of Narnia, as two children, Digory and Polly, journey to different worlds through magical rings. They encounter a sinister magician and witness the birth of Narnia by Aslan, the great lion.
