A first edition, first printing published by Michael Joseph in 1950. A very good book with heavy spotting to the page edges. In a very good unclipped wrapper which has a little bit of rubbing to the corners. Complete with the rare wrap-around band (Daily Mail Book of the Month Book Society Recommendation) with a little creasing. This is the first time we have encountered the wrap-around band on this book before.
