A first edition, first printing of You Get Nowt For Being Second by Billy Bremner, photographically illustrated throughout, published by Souvenir Press, London in 1969. This is a near fine copy free from internal inscriptions, boards bound in the original publisher’s pea-green cloth with gilt titling to the spine, minor pushing to head of the spine, edge of boards a little rub worn, the text block with some browning. The very good unclipped wrapper with fading to the spine and pushing and chipping to the spine tips and to the knuckles of front and rear flap folds, some internal damp-staining. The book benefits from copious signatures from a fund raiser on March 7th 1974.
