Three separate books, all first editions, first printings. Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy published in 1974; The Honourable Schoolboy published in 1977; Smiley’s People published 1980. All books are very good to near fine and are without inscriptions. Tinker Tailor’ is not price clipped and has a small patch of rubbing to the head of the dust wrapper. The Honourable Schoolboy’ is near fine – the DJ is clipped and has a little wear to the edges, spine tips and corners. Smiley’s People’ – book but is very good and has no inscriptions – not clipped with some light repairs to the edges and spine is lightly faded. All dust wrappers have a little wear to the edges. All now protected in Brodart wrappers. The first volume was the basis for the 1970s series starring Sir Alec Guinness and latterly the excellent motion picture featuring Gary Oldman. A near fine set.
