Three separate books, all first editions, first printings. Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy published in 1974; The Honourable Schoolboy published in 1977; Smiley’s People published 1980. All books are very good. ‘Tinker Tailor’ first edition first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1974. A very good book without inscriptions with a small dink to the bottom of the page block and some light scratching to the front board. In a very good unclipped spine faded dustwrapper. ‘The Honourable Schoolboy’ is a first edition, first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1977. A very good book without inscriptions with some spotting to the page edges and to the endpapers in a near fine unclipped dust wrapper – with a vertical crease to the front flap. ‘Smiley‘s People’ – A first edition first printing published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1980. A near fine book in a near fine unclipped wrapper – some spotting to the edges of the pages. All now protected in Brodart wrappers. The first volume was the basis for the 1970s series starring Sir Alec Guinness and latterly the excellent motion picture featuring Gary Oldman. A very good set.
