A set of all first edition, first printings published between 1966 and 1971. Consisting:(1) The Jewel in the Crown’, first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1966. A fine book without inscriptions with a trace of spotting to the top edge. In a near fine (or better) dust wrapper (a little spotting to the rear flap hinge), marginally faded to the spine, but the best copy we have seen for many years. (2) The Day of the Scorpion’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1968. A near fine book (without inscriptions) in like unclipped wrapper with two small closed tears and a small sticker residue to the front flap. (3) The Towers of Silence’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1971. A near fine book without inscriptions. In a very good+ unclipped wrapper with one small closed tear to the top of the front panel with a small tear also. (4) A Division of the Spoils’ first UK edition, first printing published by Heinemann in 1975. A fine book without inscriptions in a near fine unclipped wrapper. A scarce set complete, especially so with the unfadedJewel in the Crown and the now rare first edition ofThe Towers of Silence. Extra postage required overseas.
