Alison Uttley – Grey Rabbit And The Wandering Hedgehog – First Edition 1948
£125.00
First edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1948. This is a very good copy. The front panel, though bright with illustrations by Margaret Tempest, has a crease down the centre. The rear panel is mostly clean but with some very light handling marks. The spine is worn with some major separation at the top and slight chipping throughout. The text blocks are bright and mostly clean and it is free from previous owners ink. Overall, this is a very good copy of a nice childrens title.
One day, little Grey Rabbit bumps into Brush, the wandering hedgehog, who travels up and down the country like a gypsy. He tells her stories and asks for a winter coat in exchange.
(We don't keep all of our stock in the shop, so send us an email if you're planning a trip to see a particular author or book.)
