This is a near fine copy, inscribed and dated on the front free end paper in black and blue ink, boards bound in yellow/green mock leather with gilt titling to the front board and spine, the text block with slight browning and mild spotting to the fore edge, with ‘reader’s personal log’ to the rear, illustrated throughout with black and white maps and drawings by Wainwright. The very good unclipped wrapper with fading to the spine, chipping to the spine tips and knuckles of front and rear flaps, some browning to the front and rear panels and spine.
