Agatha Christie – The Mirror Crack’d From Side To Side – First UK Edition 1962
£185.00
First edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1962. A near fine copy. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped, displaying the original 15s. Some wear to the spine tips and corners – a little loss to the top of the spine. There is a closed tear to the tail of the spine, also, with a small tear to the top edge of the front panel and to the bottom of the rear panel. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white, though with some slight spotting to the top.
The story features Christie’s much loved character, Miss Marple, in the last of her classic English village mysteries. in 1980, a Hollywood adaptation starred Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple alongside Elizabeth Taylor as the glamourous Marina Gregg.
