A first edition, first printing published in 1955. A near fine book without inscriptions. In a very good unclipped wrapper minutely rubbed to the extremities with browning to the spine and some wear to the spine tips. SIGNED on the front endpaper ‘To Peter/from/Agatha/Oct. 1955/. Sir Peter Saunders was the producer of Christie’s record breaking ‘The Mousetrap’, adapted from her short story ‘Three Blind Mice’. The play began its run at the Ambassadors Theatre on the 25 November 1952 and continues to this day.
