First edition, first printing. Published by Collins Crime Club in London, 1969. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped, showing the original £1.25 net price, accompanied by the 25s price. There is one slight tear to the bottom of the spine. The boards are free from notable wear and the text blocks are bright throughout. There is slight rubbing to the corners and to the edges. This copy is free from previous owners ink, though. Overall, this is a very near fine copy.
The novel features Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and the mystery novelist Ariadne Oliver, who begins the novel in attendance at a Hallowe’en party. This book was dedicated to P. G. Wodehouse.
