Description
A first edition, first printing of ‘Five Little Pigs’ published by Collins in 1942. A near fine book without inscriptions – small bookseller’s ticket to the top of the front pastedown. A little wear to the corners – no dust wrapper.
A Hercule Poirot novel, published later the same year in America under the title Murder In Retrospect. On first publication the novel was very well reviewed and went quickly into reprint. It was the first of Christie’s novels to achieve sales of 20,000 copies at the original published price.
