£95.00

First edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1968. A very good copy. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped, displaying the original 21s. Some wear to the spine tips and corners – some rubbing to the sides of the spine. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white, some spotting to the top edge. No inscriptions within and exceptionally clean within the book. Overall, this is a very good copy.
The title of the book comes from Act 4, Scene 1 of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, when the second witch says: “By the pricking of my thumbs,/ Something wicked this way comes.”
