£1,350.00

First edition, first printing. Published by Methuen in London, 1928. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper, with decorations by E.H. Shepard, is mostly bright but with some light handling marks throughout. The edges, corners and spine tips are very slightly rubbed, as are the front and rear panels. The front and rear panels are soiled. The dust wrapper is unclipped. There is some toning to the front illustrated flyleaf. The boards are mildly sunned and rubbed along the spine edges and very slightly faded throughout, compromising the shine of the gilt titling. There is a neat previous owners inscription to the rear of the frontispiece. This copy is, overall, in very good (or better) condition.
The second volume of stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and is notable for the introduction of the character Tigger.
