The dust wrapper is slightly toned throughout and there are some slight spots of red ink to the front panel, mingled with some mild handling marks. The corners and spine tips are also slightly worn. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 8s. 6d. net price. The boards, in the publisher’s red cloth, are free from notable chips and marks though with some light spots to the front panel. The text blocks are white throughout and it is free from previous owner’s ink. This is a near fine copy.
