Description
First edition, first printing of ‘The Dawn of Liberation’ by Winston Churchill, published by Cassell in London, 1945. This is a very good copy – contemporary name and date to the front free endpaper. The dust wrapper has some creasing to the top edge. The spine tips and corners are pushed throughout and a small chip to the tail of the spine. There are handling marks to the rear panel. It has not been price clipped, showing 12s 6d. The boards are mostly free from notable chips and marks. Complete with five half-tone plates. The text blocks show spotting and is, overall, in very good condition.
The fifth volume of Winston Churchill’s War Speeches – it says so on the front.
