William Bell [Philip Larkin] – Poetry From Oxford In Wartime – First Edition 1945
£145.00
First edition, first printing. Published by The Fortune Press in London, 1945. This is a near fine copy. The plain dust wrapper, with deep blue titling has some handling marks and blemishes throughout, with slight rubbing to the edges. There are slight tears to the top and tail edge of the spine. It has not been price clipped and shows the original ‘6s’ net price. The boards are with some slight marks, though are free from notable ones. The text blocks are slightly toned, as are the internals. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine condition.
A collection of poetry from Oxford in wartime, featuring the first appearance of ten poems by Philip Larkin.
