A first edition, first issue of ‘The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes’, published by Newnes in 1894. Original dark blue cloth with gilt lettering and Strand Library design on upper covers and gilt label on spine. A very good (or better) copy without inscriptions small blindstamp to the top of the endpaper, accompanied by a name, gutters are uncracked and very good indeed, some rubbing to the corners and extremities. A much nicer copy than is usually encountered.

It includes famous cases such as “The Musgrave Ritual,” “The Greek Interpreter,” and “The Final Problem,” where Holmes confronts Professor Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls.
